ideal home had a  fantastic private view and a brilliant first week with lots of great visitors during the London Design Festival and the Icon Design Trail. Here’s a few private view images, a full set will go up on the CHELSEA space archive in the near future.

The CHELSEA space blog may have been quiet for a while but we have been as busy as ever here at Millbank, firstly installing the Summer Window 2011 and then working on the next CHELSEA space exhibition – ideal home which opens on September 20th as part of the London Design Festival and the Icon Design Trail 2011.

Private views, Rietveld chairs, The Worlds End and Dragons Den

The private view for Roger Ackling was a fantastic celebration and a big crowd, from young students to seasoned professionals, turned out to see Roger’s work and enjoy time with him. Artist Richard Long became a temporary performative  part of the show as he moved around revealing a work by Roger that he held in his hand.
