Derek Boshier, who is giving a talk as part of our CHELSEA programme of public events, designed the cover for David Bowie’s 1979 album Lodger in collaboration with Bowie and the photographer Brian Duffy.
A David Bowie wallpaper design was loaned to CHELSEA space for the exhibition Ideal Home by pop culture commentator Paul Gorman who coincidently will be in conversation with Derek Boshier for the CHELSEA programme event.
Ideal Home also featured Steve Thomas‘s design for the Rolling Stones live album ‘Get yer Ya Ya’s Out which included a couple of great images of guitarist Keith Richards.
Keith Richards bought clothes designed by Lloyd Johnson who is the subject of the next exhibition at CHELSEA space Lloyd Johnson: The Modern Outfitter which opens on 24th January.
